Reaching the station and its hosts

Polish New Castle Radio is run by a small group of people doing it in their own time, so the honest answer about contact is that replies are not instant and the person who can help you is usually the host of the show in question rather than the station generally.

Who to approach about what

• A dedication or a request. These go to the host of the specific programme. See staff and shows to identify which show suits, and dedications for what to include.
• An event. Dances, festivals and benefits are handled through event submissions.
• Music for airplay. Bands and labels submitting recordings should say which shows they think the material suits; hosts programme independently and a release lands better with the right one.
• Sponsorship. See sponsors for what station support involves.
• Something not playing. Work through technical first — it resolves the great majority of listening problems, and browser behaviour is the usual culprit.

Why there is no form or address here

The contact form that used to sit on this page submitted to a hosted service that is no longer running, so it collected details and delivered them nowhere — worse than no form at all. The station's postal address has also been taken down: it is a private residence, and publishing it serves no purpose that an email address does not serve better.

Submitting music

Recordings sent for airplay are distributed among the hosts whose programmes suit the material. Nothing is guaranteed airplay — every host builds their own hour and nobody is obliged to play anything — but polka radio is a small enough world that a good record from a working band generally finds somebody who wants it.
